Let it Snow....

Now that the weather is feeling more wintry, it is time to go over the procedure of how to figure out if church is canceled because of a winter storm.

If church is canceled, the Channing website  and phone message (846-0643) will have an update by 8 a.m. on the Sunday in question.  Cancellations are also broadcast on local t.v. and radio stations/websites.

I will call the teachers scheduled for that morning, but parents should check the website, phone message or their favorite local media source for news.

Sometimes, Newport will have different weather than Portsmouth or the Mainland, so check before leaving home.

Most importantly, if you feel worried, stay home! We don't want you to drive when the roads feel unsafe to you.
