Over the past few years, we at the RE Office have moved the registration time for the next year's program to May. If you haven't walked past the calendar lately, that is.....NOW!
All cheek aside- why do we want you to register in May? Well, there are many reasons:
1. When we know who is coming to classes, we know how big classes will be, how many grades to put together and what room to use.
2. When we know who is teaching, we can properly train and support our teachers.
3. When we know if there are allergies and/or medical needs, we can plan for extra care in those classes.
4. When families make a commitment to register, they are more likely to actually show up. This is good for everyone.
5. This year especially, there are going to be extra duties for the DRE in August and September, so having registration and teacher teams planned in June will be a big help.
